Hey folks!

Many of the books are currently shipping, the rest will be sent out  in about a week when the 2nd shipment arrives. If you filled out your address check your email for that backerkit link. Other than some mopping up from the stragglers we are done here! Expect something in the mail soon

Thanks again for supporting the project and feel free to reach out if any issues arise.

P.S. We will be at Origins tomorrow if you want to come say hi! Booth #628

Have a good one.

Physical Proofs, you'll be seeing the game very soon.
about 3 years ago – Tue, Mar 21, 2023 at 02:21:07 PM

Here are some pictures!

Our physical proofs are finished, It took us two tries, but the game is good to go. Long story short we will get all of the games out in April.

The book in the real physical world! Huzzah!
Presto section in all its glory!
The Combat section in real life

Backerkit issues:

Enough people have gotten errors with backerkit that I wanted to make a note here. If it is repeatedly telling you to resubmit something without any questions popping up... you are not alone! I do not know how to fix it, but 100% of peoples orders have come through on my side.  Sorry about the issues, but I will make sure everyone is able to receive their orders. Sorry about the headache everyone!

Shipping Surveys going out now
about 3 years ago – Wed, Feb 08, 2023 at 11:50:13 AM

Hey folks. Long story short: It took a hot minute but books are currently being made. Should take 3-6 weeks to get to my location, then I will send them out ASAP.

Backerkit:

Some people already have receieved surveys for shipping, everyone else will be getting them in the next 3 days. Backerkit wants to make sure I didn't mess up something horribly, and therefore sends them out in little batches.  Shipping should be $5 for everyone.  Very simple, no frills.

If you need a physical copy outside of the US or Canada reach out to me individually. Hopefully we can find a way to keep shipping costs under and arm and a leg.

Cheers everyone!

Released!
over 3 years ago – Sat, Nov 05, 2022 at 08:33:33 AM

Check your inboxes, you all should have received something from Itch.io and DrivethruRPG for download keys of The Means of Magick! (5 of you might have gotten direct emails from Alex because he got afraid automation didn't work!)

If you require a PDF of this sent directly, please send me an email directly at [email protected]. Although we encourage you to join one of these sites for future content and updates.

We are so excited to get it in everyone's hands, and will do a longer winded post later on when the game is released to the public on Monday. We appreciate any amplification you can give us on that day, and your continues support!

We want to take a moment to thank all of our great collaborators and all of you backers for making this a reality. We truly believe this is the best thing we have made, and it could have never been done without the support of this community.

Also if you see any little errors, let us know! Email us [email protected]

Release Date-- its 7 days from now. Everything else here is inconsequential nonsense.
over 3 years ago – Tue, Oct 25, 2022 at 05:08:55 AM

Hey folks, the plan is to release on Halloween. But we might just send out those little links on the 30th if we are really on point.

We will give everyone a link to download on Itch.io & DriveThruRPG. With instructions to let us know if they would rather be directly sent the file.  No reason to have you fill out a questionnaire for this part is my opinion.

We might show some little teasers on twitter so feel free to follow @jawska & @Kittycrusade in the mean time, but honestly you are going to get references to Yugioh and extensions of X-files arguments that are going to spread from our private life into public. The thing is

X-files spoilers below. I know its been 20 years, but Jess is watching for the first time.

I just really wish they kept their relationship professional. I think there was little interesting friction in them developing this other relationship. Narratively it seemed boring. That said I last watched this show regularly in middle school, so maybe now as an adult I will have a more nuanced appreciation for romance.

Thanks you for entertaining my very lukewarm take. I am going to get back to it. -Alex
